For those planning on attending our Winter Steam Gala this weekend, please be aware that if you plan to arrive at Kingsley & Froghall station via Cheadle there are currently roadworks ongoing preventing use of the normal signposted route.
When you leave Cheadle Town Centre on the A522, you will see the brown Tourist signs for the CVR. A Diversion is signposted, that instructs you to continue on the A522 until you come to a right turn, opposite "Jones & Shuff's" Bathrooms & Showers, on to the A52.
The A52 then goes through Kingsley Village, and by following the signs for Ashbourne Kingsley & Froghall Station will appear on the right just past the Railway Inn. An overflow car park will be open Boltons Yard, just over the bridge across the railway on the right-handside.
