An extensive display of old fashioned machines from Macclesfield Vintage Machinery Club will be held at Cheddleton Railway station, on the Churnet Valley Railway, on Sunday 4th June. The display features historical machines from before the age of electricity, showcasing the heritage of old Internal Combustion Stationary Engines as once used in both Agriculture and Industry.
Caroline Evans, of Churnet Valley Railway said: “It’s a real chance for children, as well as adults, to come and see the big machines from a by-gone age”. Caroline added, “The display is free and would make a nice day out for the whole family, with our steam trains also in operation to Ipstones this day”
