Churnet Valley Railway gets back into regular services this weekend with its first passenger trains of the New Year.
Two return services will operate on Sunday January 18, taking in the full length of the Churnet Valley line and then along the Cauldon branch to Ipstones. Trains will depart from Kingsley & Froghall Station at 10.00 and 12.35, and from Cheddleton Station at 10.30, and 13.05. A great chance to combine railway nostalgia with views of contrasting Moorlands scenery in its winter glory.
