Churnet Valley Railway is delighted to announce the 2020 running dates for its dining train, with a revamped programme of events for this classic dining experience that offers a scenic journey through Staffordshire’s hidden valley whilst you sit back to enjoy full waitress service on-board the line’s dedicated dining train.
The full list of dates is available through the website, with bookings now live. Whether you want a traditional Sunday Roast, a more adventurous three-course lunch or a quintessential cream tea there is a taste for everyone on the Churnet Valley Railway. New for 2020 is the return of evening trains, with the ever-popular Murder Mystery evenings re-appearing on the calendar or the more relaxed “Bombay Express” curry trains celebrating Britain’s second favourite dish!
Book now and you can step back in time aboard our 1950s dining carriage to enjoy freshly prepared meals all with full table service as the train takes the strain for the duration of your experience. A range of liquid refreshments will also be available for purchase from our on-board bar and served by our dedicated stewards direct to yourself.
Dates are available both midweek and at weekends, but pre-booking is essential as these services have continually sold out year on year and so 2020 sees an increase in the number of operating dates for those seeking a delightful time in Staffordshire. Tickets are priced from £28.50 per person depending upon the service booked, and includes all day travel, so if you wish to explore the railway and the valley itself before your experience you are more than welcome to do so.
