Steam Services To Ipstones Suspended

Following the extremely warm weather the Staffordshire Moorlands has experienced this week, along with the rest of the country, the Churnet Valley is sorry to announce that the decision has been taken to enforce a temporary steam ban up the Cauldon Line. Therefore this weekend's Cauldon services are to be hauled by Crompton 33102 'SophIe', which will operate to the Blue Timetable offering 3x return trips from Froghall Station to Ipstones Loop. We hope those of you looking to come this weekend will still enjoy your visit, and we aim to resume steam services for Augusts Cauldon dates though this will be reviewed closer to the time. The normal CVR services are to remain unaffected for the time being.
