We and our supporting engineering company Batt Holden are looking to recruit a time served machinist to join our organisation(s). The ability to comfortably carry out centre turning, milling, boring and drilling operations etc is an essential requirement for the role. Candidates must be enthusiastic and highly motivated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting day to day maintenance and overhauls of our locomotives and coaches.
- Training any apprentices we may have from time to time.
- Looking after our workshop machinery.
Key Skills:
- Time served machinist – not just CNC trained.
- Determination, and “out of the box” problem solving.
- The ability to work as part of a team and or one your own.
- Medically fit.
