The Churnet Valley Railways 13th Annual Ghost Train event took place on Saturday 27th October 2012 and was a truly spooky success. This is against a backdrop of recent vandalism attacks which saw the majority of the props for this event pointlessly destroyed.
The railway was host to over a thousand passengers dressed in a multitude of spooky guises travelling through the railways haunted tunnel before being entertained with live music, a children’s disco, children’s activities and the Caverswall Theatre Company who took over a spooky High Street in White Chapel after it had been dead for 100 years !
