The Churnet Valley Railway is to once again feature on television on 6th April, being the chosen reveal location for the latest restoration completed by the Car SOS team.
For those unaware of the format, hosts Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townshend take on a stalled car restoration project for someone prior to unveiling the working vehicle at a surprise location. With Series 11 having just begun on the National Geographic Channel, the CVR will feature in episode 5 where owner Richard visits our engineering facilities for a day out before finding his family’s heirloom sat in our car park: a 1953 Riley RMF.
The shows starts at 8pm, and not only will viewers get to see this British post-war classic come back to life, but they will also get to see some of the work we complete behind the scenes as well with our own steam locomotive restorations
